A payroll card, such as the Brink’s Money Prepaid MasterCard®, is a reloadable prepaid debit card, issued to an employee through a national or regional bank, credit union, or savings and loan association and distributed through his or her employer for the receipt of wages and other compensation. Payroll cards are also referred to as "paycards" and "payroll debit cards". A payroll card is a debit card, which is "reloaded" every pay day or at other times through an ACH direct deposit transaction. It is not a credit card. It works like a debit card. It does not require a credit check for enrollment, which means that ALL employees may use one*.

Each payday, the paycard account is electronically loaded with the employee’s net pay. The employee can then use1 the card to withdraw cash from an ATM2 or bank teller, make point-of sale purchases, receive cash back from point-of-sale transactions, make purchases by mail, phone or online and pay bills online. No. You will fund your employees’ Brink’s Money payroll card through direct deposit by using the account and routing number that appears on the employees’ instant issue pack. Once your employees are enrolled in the program, they’ll automatically receive a personalized Brink’s Money payroll card.
If an employee loses their card, they will contact Customer Service immediately so the lost card can be cancelled and their money stays safe. When they call, they can ask that a replacement card be sent to them. The first replacement card per year is available at no cost.5
